The Ambassadors Curriculum
The Ambassadors Programs
Ambassadors of Compassion currently has two programs, R.I.S.E. and L.I.F.E.ย Both programs build upon core principles that every young person needs to master to be emotionally resilient and lead a successful, fulfilling life.

The Rise Program
For 10 years Ambassadors of Compassion has prepared students to accomplish their goals and dreams. Weโve found that every student want to be heard, wants to belong, and wants to be successful. They often donโt have the hope to dream or the tools to deal with lifeโs obstacles. By treating the underlying causes, we help students reach their full potential.
Exploring the characteristics of a responsible person and the need to take ownership of oneโs thoughts and actions to help accomplish oneโs goals and dreams in life.
Understanding that having a plan and taking appropriate action is required to achieve oneโs goals and dreams in life. Not just academically, athletically, socially, or financially, but also in building strong, healthy relationships and being oneโs best self.
Serving others and the needs of the community reinforces learning and self-worth. We also find meaning and purpose in life by working with others in the service of something bigger than ourselves.
Examining the power of expectations, learning the difference between realistic and unrealistic expectations. Knowing how to manage expectations and deal with oneโs emotions when expectations are not met.

The Life Program
Today's youth face an uphill battle when it comes to finding fulfillment in their lives. They face more competition, scrutiny, and distractions than any previous generation. By helping students identify their goals and dreams and equipping them with the tools needed to overcome obstacles they face, Ambassadors of Compassion helps students unlock their full potential.
Anything worth having is worth working for. Understanding the role that labor plays in our lives includes taking the initiative to work towards our goals and dreams and accepting accountability for the results of our actions.
Recognizing that we are influenced both positively and negatively by our culture and the people around us, acknowledging that we influence others, and realizing we can take control of these influences.
Discovering that forgiveness is a process that allows us to move on from the hurt and disappointment that holds us back. Understanding and experiencing the freedom and power that comes from forgiving ourselves and others, and asking for forgiven when we offend others.
Exploring the importance of building on our life experiences and those of others, and facing and letting go of any negative experiences in order to help us reach our goals and dreams and full potential in life.

How the Process Works
Below is a short breakdown of the Ambassadors of Compassion Program and it's structure.
The 2 hour Kickoff event creates emotional connection between students and models the program for the next 9-weeks.
The program content is introduced, and powerful intimate small group conversations begins.
Students meet in safe, confidential small groups to process deep real-life issues in an integrated, immersive format. Students work through Guided Journaling that prompts the weekly small group discussion and calls-to-action where real-life decisions are made. As a result of the 2-hour Kickoff, weekly small group discussions, and Guided Journaling, remarkable things begin to happen in studentsโ lives.
Independent Study by the Resiliency Initiative:
- 96% increase in understanding of the meaning of forgiveness and how to apply it.
- 91% increase in feeling more control over their lives and futures.
- 85% increase in feeling confidence for choosing positive influences.
The Ambassadors Community Service Project resonates with the students, by reinforcing learning and teaching them how to impact their communities, as well as providing hope and purpose by having the students involved in serving something bigger than themselves.
- During the Honor Event students are recognized and affirmed for what they have accomplished during the program.
- Each Student receives a diploma so they can use it for college admissions or job applications.
- Reflection of Real Life Events: if the student doesnโt finish the program, they do not participate in the recognition event.
